BinMaster PROCAP Series Standard 3-A/USDA Capacitance Probes are sanitary versions for the food and pharmaceutical industries, have no threads, and feature a tri-clamp connection. These 3-A/USDA compliant units are designed to operate in clean-in-place applications in the food industry by detecting the presence or absence of material in contact with the probe by sensing minute changes (as low as 0.5 pF) in capacitance caused by the difference in the dielectric constant of the material versus the air.
